Jackson Hole Juggernauts

The Jackson Hole Juggernauts flat track roller derby league is a non-profit organization dedicated to athleticism and sportsmanship.
The members of JHJRD are passionate about growing Roller Derby as a physically demanding sport, while enriching and supporting our local community through many different outreach programs and opportunities. Our goal is to empower league members by challenging team members’ personal growth on and off the track. Each member shall act in such a manner that brings distinction and honor to our league, the sport of Roller Derby and the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association.
The Jackson Hole Juggernauts Roller Derby League was founded in early 2012, after two friends watched a documentary about the sport and wanted to bring it to the valley. Most of our players had not skated before, but with the help of a veteran derby player, clinics, other leagues and lots of practice the juggernauts played our first bout only months after getting on skates!
In 2016, we became on official WFTDA league after completing a year long apprenticeship. A little explanation for non derby nerds - the women's Flat Track Derby Association is the international governing body for the sport of women's flat track roller derby and a membership organization for leagues to compete and network. WFTDA promotes and fosters the sport by facilitating the development of athletic ability, sportswomanship, and goodwill among member leagues.
This will be our ten year anniversary! We took 2 seasons off due to covid, but many of our players stayed active, skating at the rink, trails, skatepark - anywhere we could.
As we enter our next season, we look forward to learning more, developing our skills, Playing stronger opposing teams and adding new skaters to our derby family!
